Former US President George W. Bush Knows The Secret To Rebuilding Haiti: Mangoes

George W. Bush wants to help rebuild Haiti…one mango at a time.
The former President believes the secret to getting the devastated country back on its feet is a fruity and delicious snack.
During a recent trip to a mango factory, Bush said that thecrop will help the country “grow into prosperity” and discussed a half-million dollar grant to help 25,000 mango farmers.
Turns out there are 10 million mango trees in Haiti and many believe mangoes could blossom into a $90 million a year export business.
While we love both a delicious mango and the idea of a stable Haiti , we’re not so sure it’s as simple as the former President is making it out to be. But that could also be just because we don’t really trust Bush.
What do you think? Are mangoes a worthy investment for Haiti? Chime in and share your thoughts!
